Making the switch to US Mortgage was relatively easy for me. I had reached my peak with my previous employer. I was a Sales Team Leader with literally no upward mobility from there. US Mortgage presented an opportunity to come aboard as a Branch Manager with the opportunity to build a branch and grow into an Area Manager (multiple branches). I have been with US Mortgage long enough that I was able to recruit a team and build a productive Branch. Thanks in part to their Marketing and Biz Dev support and the fact that they believed in me is why I am where I am today. My advice to anyone reading this is to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and make the next step. Do not get complacent. If your bank does not have the latest mobile technology, leave. If they do not provide in-house support teams, leave. You are going to get surpassed in this business. I will be the first to admit that I am not tech savvy. US Mortgage patiently trained me and now I have tools that enable me to do more business. This industry can be challenging but it can also have its rewards. If you align yourself properly with the right team and support system, you will grow. You will succeed.
