Deserves A Roof Over Their Head.

Our Story

Steven A. Milner created US Mortgage Corporation in 1994.  But this story started long before.  Not to go that far back in time but we will kick things off in 1981 when Mr. Milner started his professional banking career in New York.  At the time Mr. Milner was a Math teacher on Long Island and was simply looking to fill his time during the summer months.  Just like his love for teaching and working with children he loved making the dream of home ownership happen for others.  As time went on, he developed a strong connection with the community and the entrepreneurial spirit could no longer be brushed aside.  Mr. Milner took a big jump and formed US Mortgage Corporation.  Founded on the principle that everyone deserves a roof over their head which is embedded in our Company Culture.

Fast forward 24 years later and the story gets even better.  Surviving and persevering through financial crisis and thriving today.  Mr. Milner is a rare breed.  He has personally taken and passed 47 state licensing tests including Washington D.C., which require continuing education on an annual basis.  There are no other CEO’s or Loan Officers in our industry that can match this.  Due to his accomplishments, US Mortgage Corporation is an Independent Mortgage Banker licensed in 47 states and Washington D.C.  We currently have offices throughout the country with no signs of slowing down.

We believe our Company Culture sets us apart from other banks.  We pride ourselves on our Core Values and we live by our mission statement:  We believe that everyone deserves a roof over their head.  It is why we are involved with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and reflected in our slogan – “Helping You Make it Home”.
